I’M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY- Scottsdale, AZ – Dec.2007
Today is a great day in Scottsdale, AZ. The sun is shining, the air is clear and I can see the McDowell mountains when I walk out of my beautiful apt. Right now I’m sitting on my patio writing this blog and thinking about all the great things that have happened in my life in the past week. I recently moved from FL to AZ and thoroughly enjoying the difference in climate and topography. The mountains are amazing.
I’m a Wellness Coach in Scottsdale and under this umbrella, I am a licensed Medical Massage Therapist, Zumba Fitness Instructor, Nutritionist and Reiki Practitioner. My focus is on Women’s Health and Fitness.
So with that in mind, I started a Meetup Group this week and had my first meeting. It was great. For those interested , the website is http://www.goddess.meetup.com/323. It’s a great way for women to meet new friends with like minded interests.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach ZUMBA GOLD FITNESS classes at Abby Bella Dance Studio in Scottsdale on Mon 9:30am and Chair Zumba on Wed 1pm. The Wed class is a seated ZUMBA class for those who can’t stand up to dance and for those confined to a wheelchair. ZUMBA FITNESS is latin inspired dance aerobics with movements from cha cha, mambo, merengue, salsa, flamenco, etc.The Thurs class is for beginners to ZUMBA and for those who prefer a slower pace.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to do REIKI healing at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa, AZ. I will bring REIKI healing to people undergoing heart surgery or who have just completed their surgery. REIKI is known to accelerate healing and few hospitals are open enough to welcome this service.
I’m grateful for the great friends I’ve met since arriving in AZ in Feb.
I’m grateful for the networking groups I’ve joined, ABWA Scottsdale chapter, Shared Vision Network, Phoenix Chapter Unity Business Leaders, Phoenix. I’ve met great people there for friendships and business.
I’m grateful for my gifted Health Care practitioners who take such good care of me to keep me healthy, strong, vital and passionate so I can continue to do my work, be with friends all over the U.S., hike, bicycle, Zumba, play at Arts & Crafts Shows, swim, cook, dance, learn, grow, change and spend time with my family in NY
Until my next blog. Blessings to you all.
